The foundation stone of our company was laid by Engelbert Schmied in 1968. Six years later Christoph Schmied joined the company, which then developed into a family-run business.

From 1968 on, every year has brought valuable experience and now, nearly 40 years later, we can look back on a wide realm of experience which we can pass on to our clients.

Our company has grown over the past four decades, not only in size, but also in the number of people who work here. Alexander Schmied, the founder’s grandson, joined the company in 1991 continuing the tradition of a family-run business.
